Case Study One

Neil Hudgell Law

Neil Hudgell Law is a specialist firm of No Win No Fee solicitors. Due to its continuing success, the firm has expanded its head office in Hull to include branches in Hull and Leeds.

This meant that an efficient communications platform was needed to seamlessly integrate the three sites so that calls could be routed between them over the internal data network.

TTS upgraded the existing Panasonic system to support IP and provided IP telephones for the remote office in Hull. A new Panasonic IP system was provided at Leeds which was linked to Hull using IP trunks. TTS also installed Category 5E cabling and arranged the provision of ISDN30 and broadband services.

Case Study Two

Wolfreton School and Sixth Form College

Wolfreton School and Sixth Form College is one of the largest 11-18 community secondary schools in the East Riding of Yorkshire local authority. It is located over two sites in Kirk Ella and Willerby.

The telephone system in place at the school was obsolete and at capacity. In addition, the Lower School was served by a number of expensive analogue circuits.

TTS provided a new NEC system that supported both traditional and IP technology. This enabled existing infrastructure to be used where practical whilst allowing IP telephony to be deployed in other areas including the Lower School by utilising the existing data network.

Libby Lees, Admin and Personnel Manager at the School, says: "We needed a new telephone system at an affordable price to allow us to expand the number of extensions and at the same time reduce the high cost of the serving the Lower School.
